After many random hours in between
doing a million other things, much collaboration with design friends and
photographer friends, it is here. I'm officially a website! Or I
officially have a website. Or something.
Something that I've been wanting to
do for awhile but haven't had the time (silly day job...) is to post something
daily, be it large or small. I have decided to do this in a 'Picture of
the Day' style. I'm pretty pumped about it. In fact, here is the first
one! I chose this throwback picture to start this off because it is the
first picture I posted to go along with my original blog over on Blogger.
I still love it :)
I'm going to try very hard to
maintain this 'post-a-day' thing, so I warn you there may come desperate
content... aka excessive pictures of my ridiculously adorable dogs. I mean,
Henry has his entire adorable foot in his mouth right now in his determination
to be the cleanest dog in the world. Who doesn't want to see that?....
Anyway, a HUGE thank you to Amanda
Webb of Footsteps Photography (those rad floating scarves shots), Kalyn
Caballero (amazing portrait photography and logo design), Meredith Thomas
(beautiful outdoor scarf shots), and a million other people that had any shred
of impact on my life and the path that led me to this incredible point.
I've been working on this site for awhile, but I wasn't expecting it to time so
perfectly to enable me to launch on my actual birthday. A fabulous
birthday gift to myself, I must say. The first day of the last year of my
20s, and the first day of my full time pursuit of art as a sustainable
career. A sparkly new website done by yours truly, and a giant sushi
dinner with some fabulous friends. A day at Harry Potter Studios flying
my nerd flag high, and a glass of Jameson to cap it all off.
An amazing birthday, indeed.
